Selecting a mechanical keyboard for typing can feel daunting, especially with so many choices available. What factors do you think are most critical when making a decision?
Some users may prioritize the tactile feel of the switches, while others might lean towards build quality or features like backlighting and programmable keys. Have you discovered any specific brands or models that enhance comfort during long typing sessions? Also, how have your experiences been with customizing or adjusting your keyboard settings to better suit your needs?
I recently switched to a Keychron K6, and it’s been a game-changer for my long typing sessions. The hot-swappable switches are awesome for customizing, too! What kind of switches do you prefer, or are you looking for something specifically for gaming or just typing?
I’ve had a good experience with Keychron keyboards. They feel solid and the typing experience is nice, especially with the Gateron switches. For long sessions, I’d say a solid wrist rest makes a huge difference too. Keeping the RGB lights off also helps with distractions and battery life if you’re using a wireless one.
