Now that the Steam Deck has been around for a while, I’m wondering if it still competes well with the newer handhelds out there. I’ve noticed some really cool devices being released lately, but the Steam Deck has maintained a devoted fanbase. For those of you who still own one, do you find it still worth using for gaming on the go?

I’ve been modding my Steam Deck and testing out all its features, but I’m curious about how it compares to the latest models. Have there been any software updates or new features that keep it relevant? Or are there better choices available now?

What do you think about the longevity of the Steam Deck? Are you planning to stick with it, or are you considering an upgrade?

I’ve still got my Steam Deck and honestly, it’s holding up pretty well. The recent updates have really improved performance, and the game library just keeps expanding. I’ve tried some of the newer handhelds, but I still feel like the Steam Deck gives me the most bang for my buck, especially since I can play my whole Steam library on the go. Thinking of upgrading is tempting, but I’m not sure what would top it just yet.
