Is the Audeze LCD-XC Still Worth It in 2026?

I’ve been hearing a lot about the Audeze LCD-XC and its popularity among audiophiles, and I’m wondering if it’s still a worthy investment in 2026. People often praise its incredible sound quality and sturdy build, but with so many new models hitting the market, does it still compete well?

I recently had the opportunity to test the LCD-XC, and I was truly impressed by the soundstage and clarity. However, I’m curious how it stacks up against more affordable alternatives. Are there newer headphones out there that deliver similar or even superior sound without the hefty price tag?

For those of you who own the LCD-XC, do you feel that its price is justified by the audio experience? And for anyone who has explored different options, what headphones would you recommend?

I think the LCD-XC is still solid for sound quality, but it’s true there are more budget-friendly options now. I recently tried the Focal Listen Professional, and honestly, it gave me pretty close performance for a lot less. If you’re more about the experience than the brand, definitely check out some of those newer models!
