Has anyone tried the new Raspberry Pi models in 2026?

I’ve been looking at the latest Raspberry Pi models that just released, and the specs seem pretty impressive for anyone needing more processing power. I’m trying to decide if upgrading from my Raspberry Pi 4 is worth it.

One thing I’m particularly interested in is how these new models perform with multitasking and running multiple applications at once. Have they made any advancements in thermal management? As someone who enjoys experimenting with different setups, I want to ensure that investing in new hardware will truly benefit my projects.

Has anyone had the chance to test out the new models? What have your experiences been? Are there specific projects where you think the new Raspberry Pi really outperforms the earlier versions?

I just picked up one of the new models last week. The multitasking is way better than my old Pi 4, and I’ve noticed it stays cooler even when running a bunch of apps at once. I’m experimenting with a media server setup, and it handles streaming and transcoding like a champ. Definitely feels like a solid upgrade!

I got my hands on the new Raspberry Pi a few weeks back, and wow, the multitasking is way smoother than the 4. I tried running a couple of emulators and a Kodi server at the same time, and it handled it like a champ. Thermal management seems improved too; it runs cooler under load, which is a nice bonus for long sessions! Totally worth the upgrade for my setup.
