I’ve been trying to transfer some videos from my PC to my Android tablet, and it’s turned out to be a bit of a challenge. USB transfers can be really slow and clunky, especially with large files. Sure, streaming services are convenient, but there are times I want to have videos offline or just prefer storing them locally.

I’ve come across apps like AirDroid and various cloud services, but I’m not sure which would work best for me. I also run into trouble with certain video formats not playing correctly on my tablet. Has anyone discovered a reliable method for transferring videos, particularly 4K ones? What tools or steps do you recommend for a smoother process?

Have you tried using Google Drive? You can upload the videos there and then access them on your tablet. For the format issues, VLC for Android is great for playing almost any type of video. It might solve your playback problems!

Have you tried using VLC Media Player? It can handle a bunch of formats, and you can set it up to share files over your Wi-Fi. Just drag your videos into the shared folder on your PC, and they should show up on the tablet without much hassle. Way faster than USB!
