I picked up a 500 watt Bluetooth speaker last summer for outdoor parties, and the sound is definitely punchy—way better than my old ones. Just be sure to get one that’s rated for outdoor use if you’re in a humid place like Singapore; those can take a beating. I’ve been happy with the JBL PartyBox series; they’ve held up nicely so far!
